AC-B provides a supplementary electronic copy for its book “Introduction to AMHS” to support easy navigation through the 800 pages of the two volumes. This copy on USB stick contains a PDF file with a three-level index of the headlines on a bookmark pane. AC-B has been certified as Notified Body of the European Community for AMHS conformance verification
AC-B is appointed by the “Bundesaufsichtsamt für Flugsicherung”, the German ATC Regulatory Authority, as Notified Body according to Article 8 of EC Regulation No 552/2004 with regard to the execution of tasks concerning the Conformance Testing of AMHS systems. The received certificate attests AC-B being an impartial test organisation to carry out inspections on AMHS implementations for the benefit of system manufacturers and operating agencies, the ANSPs (air navigation service providers).
